The olive grove of Menin Douro Estates, in Gouvinhas, obtained organic farming certification, under Regulation 2018/848 of the European Union.

This is the recognition of our “good environmental practices, the high level of biodiversity, the preservation of natural resources, the application of demanding standards in terms of animal welfare and the production method in line with consumer preference for products obtained using natural substances and processes”.

This certification rewards our daily effort to develop the Douro and its heritage and is also an incentive for us to continue our contribution to a more sustainable world.
